Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

The temple is a golden color. Buddhists believe that gold is a symbol of happiness, knowledge, enlightenment, and purity.

Wat Pha Lat

Visitors must hike up a mountain through the "Monks Trail" to get here. The temple is nestled at the top of the trail.

Wat Suan Dok

Wat Suan Dok is translated to “flower garden temple” and is known for its large stone monuments and floral offerings that are often left beside it. 

Wat Chedi Liam

There are 60 Buddhas at the temple. The Buddhas are said to commemorate the 60 wives of one of the King of Thailand.

Wat Chedi Luang

 A relic called The Emerald Buddha was housed on the grounds—making it a very important Buddhist landmark.

Wat Phra Singh

 It's sometimes referred to as, “The temple of the Lion Buddha”, which is the name of the Buddha idol in the temple. 

Wat Pan Sao

These grounds include a temple, a Chedi, and gardens with cute and unique statues of various animals and Buddha’s scattered throughout.
